Kathmandu & Bhaktapur Full Day Sightseeing



8:30 AM: Swoyambhunath
Pick up from Hotel and proceed to Swoyambhunath, a Buddhist stupa situated on top of hill which is also known as "Monkey Temple". The stupa is believed to be more than 2000 years old and the main stupa is surrounded by other temples. The view of Kathmandu valley from Swoyambhunath is wonderful. It is listed as World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

10: 30 AM: Kathmandu Durbar Square
You will proceed to Hanumandhoka Durbar Square, a Palace courtyard in Kathmandu City where you will visit 'Kumari House', house of only living goddess in the world 'Kumari', Palace courtyard and traditional buildings and temples.

12:30 - 13:30 PM: Lunch

13:30 PM: Bhaktapur
After Lunch, Proceed to Bhaktapur, a Newar town in the east corner of Kathmandu Valley. Bhaktapur has the best preserved Palace Courtyard and old city center in Nepal and is listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO for its rich culture, temples and wood, metal and stone artworks. This is supported by the restoration and preservation efforts of German funded Bhaktapur Development Project. Other attractions in Bhaktapur are Pottery Square, Nyatapola Temple, Siddha Pond etc.

16:30 PM: Back to Hotel
From Bhaktapur, you will be transferred back to the hotel. Rest of the evening free for your own activities.
