Everest and other snowcapped mountains, which continues to hold a special fascination for many tourists. This package will fulfill your all desires of over viewing the mountains and hills. Trekking in Nepal is not like hiking through an uninhabited National Park. Local People are constantly passing by on the trails, usually carrying heavy loads of unexpected items. » Itinerary:

Day 01

KATHMANDU
Arrive Kathmandu . Meet by our representative and transfer to hotel. Overnight at Soaltee Crown Plaza or similar. (NO MEAL)

Day 02

KATHMANDU - POKHARA
Breakfast at hotel at 0700 hrs. Check out hotel and transfer to Pokhara by tourist coach. Though it is only 200 Kms away from Kathmandu it takes 6 hrs journey to reach Pokhara. No wonder the 6 hrs journey will be as memorable as anything driving right next to the banks of Trishuli River and Marshyangdi River which are very famous for rafting and not to miss out the charming pastoral scenery on the way. We stop at Hamlet Restaurant on the way to rest and try the local flavor of Nepalese readymade tea. We then drive onwards and stop at Riverside Springs Resort to eat lunch. After lunch we drive onwards to Pokhara driving past the only cable car of the country and one of the busiest local stops of the country. Arrive Pokhara at around 1500 hrs and check into hotel. Rest of the day at own leisure for individual activities. Dinner and overnight at The Fulbari Resort or similar. (B/L/D)

Day 03

POKHARA
Early morning wake up at 0430 hrs to transfer to Sarangkot which is high on top of the hills. If weather permits we have a beautiful view of the Annapurna mountain ranges with noted names like Mt. Fishtail, Mr. Ganesh etc. The chance to view the mountains with the sunrise right over it is overwhelming. At about 0730 hrs we leave Sarangkot to reach Bindebasini Temple (a Hindu temple). Breakfast at 0830 hrs at the hotel. After breakfast we have an option to either stroll around the lakeside or take a short hike to nearby villages to see the local people do with their daily life and take photographs. Lunch at 1300 hrs at the Lake View Resort. After lunch we go for boating at the Fewa Lake reaching a small piece of land in the center of the Lake where reside the famous temple of Barahi. Rest of the time at own leisure for shopping around the lakeside or just lazing yourself. Dinner and overnight at The Fulbari Resort or similar. (B/L/D

Day 04

POKHARA - KATHMANDU
Breakfast at hotel at 0730 hrs. After breakfast check out hotel and transfer back to Kathmandu via the same route enjoying the pastoral sceneries on the way and remembering the Pokhara valley. We stop at Highway Restaurant for a tea break. Continuing the journey we stop at the Riverside Springs Resort for lunch. We arrive Kathmandu at around 1530 hrs and visit Swoyambhunath famously known as the Monkey�s Temple which was founded about 2000 yrs ago. It is situated on top of the hill overlooking the Kathmandu valley. We then go to Boudhanath , one of the biggest Stupas in the world and home to the monks. The evening scene of the local and foreign Buddhist lighting lamps is very charming. We then return back to the city to have dinner at Bhancha Ghar which serves local traditional dances with local flavoured food. Overnight at Soaltee Crown Plaza or similar. (B/L/D

Day 05

KATHMANDU
Breakfast at hotel at 0730 hrs. Check out from the hotel and transfer for sightseeing tour of Kathmandu Durbar Square , (Kasthamandap - a medieval rest house said to give Kathmandu by its name.) Major attractions here are the Kumari Temple, Hanumandhoka its vicinity and other artistic and very old temples.

At 1200 hrs we proceed to Patan and have lunch at the China Town Restaurant. After lunch we visit Patan Durbar Square which is equally famous for its arts and crafts. Major attractions in Patan are the Shikara-style Krishna temple, Patan durbar square with royal baths, Hiranya Varna Mahabihar , Mahaboudha a Buddhist monastery. We then transfer to Thamel at 1500 hrs. Rest of the time free for shopping near or at Thamel . Pick up from Thamel at 1900 hrs and transfer to Shangri-la hotel for farewell dinner. Freshen up, pack up your belongings and transfer to the airport. (B/L/D)
